This Norwich dance school has been providing expert tuition in dance, drama and singing for over twenty years. Miss Charlotte Corbett is the principle and there are many guest teachers including the ballerina Cynthia Harvey. There are dance classes to suit every ability; adults and children from beginners to professional training. The Central School of Dancing also offers drama lessons and singing lessons. There are special baby dance classes too which start from 3 years old. Private tuition is also available.

The Central School of Dancing and Performing Arts regularly puts on shows for the whole school to perform, which take part at the Theatre Royal in Norwich. This gives every one an exciting opportunity to perform on a grand stage and enjoy a day at the theatre.

This dance school concentrates on creativity, choreography, technique, and gives everyone the chance to exceed. Based in central Norwich there is a large studio, a smaller studio, kitchen, changing rooms and more. Central School also operates a summer school, guest teachers are invited to coach offering many different disciplines like musical theatre and serious acting! There is a presentation show at the end where students can demonstrate what they have been taught. The children learn a lot from the special teachers that Miss Charlotte Corbett recruits at summer school, but what’s just as important is it’s great fun too!

All the dancers did really well, Central School got 10 out of 12 finalists, a commendation, 2 musicality cups and 3rd place in the Intermediate section!
